Webcast - Risk-based Control: A Practical Approach - Originally Presented on April 23rd, 2008

One of your most critical responsibilities as a strategic finance professional is managing enterprise exposure to risk — regulatory, financial and operational. Whether you work for a multinational corporation, a consulting firm or a private accounting practice, you know that effective risk management in today’s technology-driven business environment means finding ways to control the vast amounts of highly sensitive data stored on your company’s or your clients’ information systems. But what you may not know is how much of that data is sitting on individual’s desktops and out of held by end-user applications that lie beyond your control — or anyone else’s.

In this free webcast, Compassoft and Adams Harris will provide specific guidance on advancements in spreadsheet management best practices and automation technologies that scale across the enterprise. A comprehensive spreadsheet control strategy will be outlined that will reduce risks with a sustainable, automated approach to meet your financial reporting, internal audit, and regulatory compliance needs.
